Who I am
I’m a full-time game developer living in Santiago, Chile. Since my first computer, I have been developing videogames and researching about web technology and programming. I have also devoted my free time to writing and drawing, sometimes also on the professional side too. This website reflects my work and hobbies, and serves as my business portfolio.
Julio Sepia is a pseudonym I have been using since high school to sign my artwork. I like it more than my legal name, Davy Bravo, for multiple reasons.
Professional skills
I am proficient in all areas of web design, web development and videogame programming. My artistic experience helps me create visually appealing products. Sometimes I also teach and give talks about programming and videogames.
The Hobby
Making art (or trying to) is something I just can’t help. Anytime and anywhere, I may involuntarily lapse into art mode and draw or build something with whatever materials I have nearby. I usually stick to traditional pen & paper drawings, but I’ve been known to make art with whiteboard markers, wood, matches, clothes, and of course, with plain text. I’ve written for several low-profile magazines and I’ve also written a couple of books and published them informally. The next one will be submitted to publishers.
Did you make that?
For some reason I get asked this question a lot. I don’t understand why. :-S The answer is yes. If it’s on my website, I made it. Or, at the very least, I worked on it.
